21st October 2006 Windsurfing: Overcombe Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: f5 Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Yet another session at overcombe, short sleeved suit,sunny all day,warm water, is it october? Another good day but not as good as last thursday or hopefully tomorrow, loads of power on 5.7m(which felt big after using 5m 4.2m & even 3.8m for the last few sessions) & could have used 5m really.There was plenty of waves/ramps for jumping today but they seem to come & go, dont know if that was the double low tide thingy...but got a few frontside turns in,not that fast or snazzy but felt good all the same. Martin F turned up & a few others from bristol area,which was good to see.There was plenty of good sailers pulling nice forwards & lots of backies, although ive never seen anyone sail away from a backloop which would be cool. not a 5 star day after but almost... |
